Crazy Boobs and Naked Gay Guys

I've picked up some work this week, unpaid, but that's fine right now (still have some food in the fridge for a couple more days).

I've written a post for Crazy Boobs describing the adventures of Delta White. I tried to write naturally using the keywords sent to me by the client and in the spirit of the clients site. This should optimise for search well as its relevant and engaging although once on the page the images will, of course, take centre stage.

I've written my take on content SEO here.

I'm also a little disappointed in myself, a webmaster contacted me requesting that I write for his gay site that promotes gay sex toys. I've not given up with this yet but found it difficult, I thought I could simply put myself in the position of the user and write away. I consider myself open minded and in no way homophobic but I just couldn't write anything credible, I couldn't grasp that primal feeling that a straight guy has towards a girl, a gay guy has towards a guy or that of a lesbian towards another girl.

Not given up yet, I'll read some gay descriptions on other sites and see if I can grasp the perspective.

Silver lining

This is a tough business to enter, much like many others. People won't give you anything and rightly so, after all why should they. They have no idea who I am and what I can do. In fact I'm not even sure if what I write is of a high enough standard.

I've started offering my services for free, this works as it gives potential clients the chance to see what I can do and gives me the opportunity to show them and build a portfolio of work to show future prospects

I've been given the opportunity to write content for a wide range of websites ranging from once in a lifetime experiences through boob fetish sites to gay sex toy sites. This is interesting and I welcome the challenge.

The blog is born

Day one of my new blog. I've designed it to showcase some of my content writing and hopefully entice potential clients to hire me.

I've tried to keep it simple,  the clients I'm hoping to attract are not going to be impressed with a flashy website, they are experts in these sites. I'm going to use this blog to simply display my work, range of services and contact details. I do plan to expand into a Wordpress self hosted blog eventually and I'll create a step by step guide to this for any other novices out there.

Over the next few days I'll post up more examples of my work along with my thoughts and research that I used in putting together the passages of text.

I'll also update here with my thoughts on Internet content and how I believe that it should be presented. All too often I see great movies and images that take effort and expense to present cheapened by poorly constructed rushed descriptions. Search engine optimisation is becoming ever more content focussed meaning these descriptions are key marketing tools.
